Wed, 21 May 2008 In its typical fashion, The Wrock Club returns after a slumber with some awesome material! It begins with a special announcement and some light discussion, followed by a Marked as His Equal sandwich. We play his tune "The Ballad of Sirius Black", talk to Mark about his new album, and conclude with "The Ballad"'s sequel of sorts, "The Promise". The interview with Mark is really something. Did you know he wrote and recorded Never Say Goodbye in 28 days? After that we introduce a new segment called Chocolate where we essentially try two types of delicious chocolate bars. By delicious I mean, good and "rancid". Yes, that was the word the majority of us chose to use. The good was Ritter Sport with marzipan filling. The bad was Frey's chocolate with chili peppers. It's worth listening to for our reactions alone. We play "Whompy Stole My Pillow", live, by Justin Finch-Fletchley, while we refresh ourselves with cooling beverages and are then joined by Megan from The Wizard Rockumentary who discusses things like being able to witness the development of the wizard rock community through the eyes of a documentor.
